Words whispered in my ear
they brought me these tears
your soft touch on my skin

A Tiny Flower
he gently scooped me up
I bloomed in his touch
my petals caressed his flesh
he cared for me
and I grew
then his fingers began
to hold me tight
close up around me
letting no sunlight in
the storms came
and my petals fell
I withered
in his touch
I became dust
and the wind carried me away
this was our love
